Terms of Use
Last updated:
This document was written in Portuguese. This English version is a translation provided for convenience; in case of any conflict between the two, the Portuguese version prevails.
These Terms govern the use of BK Products — the website, the web app, the Chrome extension and the related services —, offered by Bk Reviews LTDA, registered under CNPJ No. 54.734.121/0001-96, headquartered at Rua Mistral (Jd. Bom Clima), 332, Edif. The Point, Sala 209A, Despraiado, Cuiabá/MT, CEP 78048-222, Brazil.
By creating an account or using the service, you state that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1.The service
BK Products helps merchants import products from other websites’ pages, organize title, price, variants, images and description, and publish those products to their own stores on Shopify or Wix.
Importing starts from the Chrome extension: you open a product page on a supported site — the supported sites are listed on our website — and click to import. A site may stop being read correctly when it changes its own page.
2.Your account
To use the service, you must be 18 or older and create an account with a valid e-mail address. Access works through a link sent to that e-mail: whoever has access to your e-mail has access to your account.
You are responsible for your account information, for the security of your e-mail and for all activity in your account. If you suspect misuse, let us know at [email protected].
3.Imported content and third-party rights
Importing copies content from other websites’ pages — text, photos, names, trademarks, prices and descriptions — that belongs to third parties. BK Products is a tool: you are the one who chooses what to import, what to publish and where to publish it.
Before importing and publishing, you must hold the rights or the authorization needed to use and republish that content, including text, photos, trademarks and other intellectual property rights, and you must respect the terms of use of the source sites and of the platforms where you publish.
You are solely responsible for the content you import and publish, for the products you list and for the sales you make, including towards consumers, rights holders and authorities. If we receive a substantiated notice of an infringement, we may remove the content from the service and suspend the account involved.
4.Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- list or sell products that are illegal, counterfeit, dangerous or forbidden by the platforms;
- infringe third-party rights, such as copyright, trademarks and privacy;
- mislead consumers with false information about products, prices, delivery times or origin;
- get around plan limits, access other people’s accounts or try to break the service’s security;
- overload the service or use it in an automated way through means other than the ones we offer.
5.Third-party stores and platforms
You can connect stores on Shopify and Wix. By connecting, you authorize us to access the store with the permissions the platform shows: creating, editing and publishing products and, on Wix, managing the media library. We do not access orders or your customers’ data.
On Shopify, connecting creates an app in your organization to grant that access. On Wix, when you connect, we upload a test image to your media library and delete it right after, to confirm the permissions.
When you import a product while a store is connected, we create a draft of the product in it, which is not visible to your customers, and keep it updated while you edit. The product is only published — and becomes visible in the store — when you tell us to publish it.
The platforms and source sites belong to third parties, with their own terms and policies, which you must follow. We are not responsible for the availability, the rules or the changes of those platforms, which may affect importing or publishing.
You can revoke our access at any time in the platform’s dashboard, for example by removing the app or the access key. To remove a store from your account, write to [email protected].
6.Content generated by artificial intelligence
Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest text, organize images, generate descriptions and create images, according to your plan and to each feature’s availability.
Generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies or similarities with third-party content. Review everything that is generated before publishing: you are responsible for what you publish.
Some results are applied to the product as soon as they are generated — for example, the organization of images —, while others, such as image variations, wait for your choice. In every case, nothing becomes visible in your store until you tell us to publish it.
When you use these features, the content needed is sent to the artificial intelligence providers described in the Privacy Policy.
7.Plans, prices and limits
The service has a free plan and paid plans. The prices, what each plan includes and its usage limits are those shown on our website and in the app at the time you subscribe.
Each plan has usage limits — for example, on imports, publications, connected stores and image generations. Some limits renew every week. When you reach a limit, the corresponding action is unavailable until the limit renews or you change plans.
If we change a plan’s price, we will let you know in advance, and the new price will only apply to an active subscription from the renewal following the notice.
8.Subscription, billing and renewal
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, with no trial period, charged in advance at the start of each cycle.
Payment is made on the payment page of Stripe, our payment processor. The card used is saved at Stripe for renewals and, when available, an open invoice can also be paid by Pix.
The subscription renews automatically every month, charging the saved card, until you cancel it. We e-mail you the subscription confirmation and a receipt for every payment.
If a charge fails, we will try again over the following days and let you know by e-mail. You keep access to the paid plan for a few days; if the payment is not settled, the account goes back to the free plan and the subscription is cancelled.
When you move to a more expensive plan, the change applies immediately and you pay only the difference proportional to the days left in the cycle. When you move to a cheaper paid plan, the change applies from the next renewal, with no credit for the current cycle.
When the subscription is bought through a sales partner, such as Kiwify, or billed by Shopify, payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow that channel’s rules.
9.Cancellation
You can cancel the subscription at any time in the app, on your plan’s screen. Cancelling stops the renewals: access to the paid plan continues until the end of the period already paid and, after that, the account goes back to the free plan. Until then, you can reactivate the subscription.
If the subscription has an overdue payment, the cancellation applies immediately and the open invoice is waived.
Cancelling does not refund the current period, in full or in proportion, except under the right of withdrawal over the first payment, described below.
10.Right of withdrawal and refunds
You may withdraw from the subscription within 7 (seven) days of the date of its first payment (the one made when you subscribed), as article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code provides. To do so, write to [email protected] from your account’s e-mail address within that period.
That first payment is refunded in full, through the same method used to pay. The refund also cancels the subscription immediately: access to the paid plan ends, the account goes back to the free plan and there are no further charges.
How long the refund takes to show on your card statement or account depends on Stripe and on the institution that issued the card.
Monthly renewals are not refundable under the right of withdrawal, which applies only to the first payment. To avoid being charged at the next renewal, cancel the subscription before it: cancelling stops the following renewals, and access to the paid plan continues until the end of the period already paid.
11.Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service available and working well, but we do not guarantee that it will run without interruptions or errors, and we do not offer a minimum availability level. Interruptions may happen for maintenance, because of vendor failures or because of changes to the source sites and platforms.
We may change, add or remove features. If we remove an essential feature from a paid plan, we will let you know in advance.
12.Intellectual property
The service — the software, the BK Products brand, the website, the design and the documentation — belongs to Bk Reviews LTDA or its licensors. These Terms only give you the right to use the service while your account is active, without transferring any ownership right.
The content you upload, create or import remains yours or belongs to whoever holds the rights to it. You grant us a limited, free and non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, adapt and transmit that content only as far as needed to provide the service — for example, to store it, generate text and images at your request and publish it to the stores you connect —, for as long as it is in the service.
13.Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service whenever you want and ask us to delete your account by e-mail at [email protected].
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or the law, that puts the service or third parties at risk, or by order of an authority. Whenever possible and allowed, we will let you know beforehand and explain why.
If we close a paid account without you having breached these Terms, we will refund the amount proportional to the period paid and not used.
14.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, including the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, we are not liable for:
- the content you import or publish, nor for your sales, your listings and your relationships with your customers;
- errors, changes or unavailability of the source sites and of third-party platforms;
- content generated by artificial intelligence that you published without reviewing it;
- lost profits, lost sales or indirect damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights the law guarantees to consumers, nor our liability in the cases where the law does not allow such a limitation.
15.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date of the last update is at the top of this page. When a change is relevant, we will let you know by e-mail or in the app before it takes effect; if you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel the subscription and close the account.
16.Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
The courts of the district (comarca) of Cuiabá, State of Mato Grosso, Brazil, are chosen to settle any dispute about these Terms. If you are a consumer, your right to bring the action in the courts of your own domicile is preserved, as article 101, I, of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code provides.
Before taking any step, talk to us at [email protected]: most issues are solved there.
